DESIGN PRINCIPLES
YEAR 1, MODULE 2
During my first term, I was set the project of creating a speaker to be sold in a design shop in London- the Aram store in Covent Garden. Not only did we have to design a speaker to be sold in the store but also the design had to be influenced by the surrounding area and architectural style. This gave me a great chance to use my photography skills to build up a catalogue of photos to design from.
This is my final model. I was so pleased with the outcome, and think it hits the brief. For manufacture ideally the speakers would be hand turned out of ceramics
