DESIGN PRINCIPLES

MODULE 

YEAR 1 PROJECT 1

 

When I first got to University, having been from a very art based background I had to transition into Product Design very quickly. This was my first project entitled ‘Replicate’ in which we were given products we had to recreate. This not only gave us an introduction into using the work shop, sketching, and laying out logbooks but also gave me the chance to develop skills such as finishing plastic and wood, reaserching the product I got given and studying pre existing design classics. I have included a few pages from my logbook that I feel give an overal summary of this module.
